Nine businesses across four decades, three best-selling books, and a passion for mentoring entrepreneurs to profitability and freedom.
At 16, I began competing in hair competitions, learning the valuable lessons of discipline and asking for help. At 19, I took a bold step and left college to open my first salon after selling my car to gather the down payment. That decision set the stage for a career that saw me establish nine successful businesses in various sectors.
My journey has not been without setbacks. I lost my first business to a fire, but quickly bounced back and expanded, introducing the concept of the Day Spa to the Western Pennsylvania region in 1986. Years later, when I envisioned instant bar-coded gift certificates that could be printed right from a website, code-writers laughed out loud at the idea. When my concept was finally built, it transformed our revenue system and, through SpaEdge Inc., went on to transform the beauty industry.
With more than four decades of experience starting and building businesses, I have authored three best-selling business books and now focus on mentoring entrepreneurs and conducting workshops for personal and professional growth. My passion is helping clients transform their ideas and businesses into seven-figure endeavors, while promoting personal happiness and financial freedom.
